This Code of Conduct sets out the principles that apply at PE-PACKAGING for ethical and legally compliant behaviour internally and towards external partners such as customers, suppliers, authorities and other third parties. It is binding for all employees and the management of PE.
We observe all applicable laws and regulations at home and abroad, in particular with regard to minimum wages and social benefits, working hours, freedom of association and collective bargaining.
We support our business partners in introducing and implementing comparable standards and insist on compliance with them in our mutual business relationships.
We respect human rights and promote their observance.
We reject any form of child labour, forced labour and involuntary labour.
We reject all forms of discrimination. We are committed to equal opportunities and equal treatment, regardless of ethnic origin, skin colour, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, disability, age, gender, social background or political views, insofar as these are based on democratic principles and on tolerance towards those who think differently.
We do not accept immoral or corrupt practices by anyone and strictly prohibit any participation in such practices. We avoid conflicts of interest arising from our work, and if such conflicts begin to emerge, we inform the management.
We ensure occupational safety and health protection in the workplace at least within the framework of statutory requirements.
We are committed to preserving and improving our environment. We avoid environmental pollution and use resources sparingly.
